Tutorial on Spiral

This is not my work. I just want to share a tutorial on it

Materials needed:
Crystal Beads (Size 6)
Sand beads (2 colours, not compulsory) (Size 2)
Twine 0.30 or 0.35
Needle



Procedure:

Step 1

Make a spiral rope chain of the desired length

Procedure for Spiral Rope Chain

• Insert the twine into the needle
• Insert 1 seed bead  and knot. This serves as a stopper.
• Pick 4 seed beads of colour A and pick 3 seed beads of colour B
• Pass the needle back  into the 4 seed beads of colour A
• Insert 1 colour A seed bead and 3 colour B seed beads
• Pass the needle back into 3 of the old colour A seed bead plus the newly added colour A
• Insert 1 colour A seed bead and 3 colour B seed beads, pass the needle back into 3 of the old colour A seed bead plus the newly added colour A. Repeat till you get the desired length

Step 2

• Thread the needle
• Start from the beginning of the spiral rope chain
• Pass your needle through the first 3 colour B seed beads, insert 5 colour B seed beads and 1 crystal bead, pass the needle back through the 5 colour B seed beads and the first 3 colour B seed beads. The crystal serves as a stopper.
• Insert the needle into the next 3 colour B seed beads and repeat the step above.
• Repeat this till the end of the spiral rope chain.
